I searched the internet and tried every suggestion I could find, but none of it works for me. When I get to the stronghold there is no giant attacking and everyone is inside the hall. I'm having trouble starting the 'The Cursed Tribe' quest. Anyways I'm still gonna ask since people here seem to have a lot more knowledge than me on things relating to quests.

I read the description of the mod and it doesn't say anything about doing changes to my problem. Having to google a quest is not fun, or good design in my opinion. I either have to wander the roads of Skyrim and hope that I stumble onto the quest. However, if that is not how this mod is designed to function, then my ability to 'choose' to pursue a book quest after turning it down, is really limited.

That's how I assume this mod is intended to work. With the prompt to 'investigate further' always popping up until I accept. In my case (book quest), the similar solution should be for the quest script to always run when reading the book. If I turn down a quest giver 1st time, I can just talk to them to start the quest later. In non-book quests, this simply means talking to the quest giver and choosing the dialogue option to initiate the quest. The reports from users that I've read suggest that this particular quest is bugged if started by 'directly encountering the quest objective.'ДЄdditionally, the quote also says ' If you decline a quest, you can still change your mind and choose to pursue it at any point in the future.?' Like I said, I've looked up this issue, which I believe is even talked about in the forum for this mod. The relevant line is 'in many cases, directly encountering the quest objective will still advance the quest.?'

However, from what you quoted, that doesn't directly answer my question.
